Beth Reimel, Ph.D Dr. Reimel earned her MSW from Washington University and her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. She was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the National Institute of Mental Health. In addition, Dr. Reimel has had postgraduate training in individual, couple and family therapy at Georgetown University and the Institute of Contextual Therapy. She has also trained under the direction of Ivan Boszormenyi-Nagy, M.D. In Switzerland. In addition to private practice, Dr. Reimel has been the head of a counseling department, a clinical instructor in a department of psychiatry, and stress manager for a hospital as well as on the graduate social work faculty of two universities. Her interest in loss and grief counseling resulted in assisting to organize and in-home hospice program.
